Tetricus II
as Caesar AD 273 - 274
Caius Pius Esuvius Tetricus:
Son of Tetricus I.
AD 273 - 274 - Caesar under Tetricus I
AD 274 - Augustus with Tetricus I (?)
Tetricus was the son of Tetricus, the last ruler of the breakaway Gallic state eliminated by Aurelian. After Tetricus the elder went over to Aurelian, he marched alongside his father during Aurelian's triumph in Rome, but shared in the pardon of his father. While his father was made governor of Lucania, Tetricus the younger was given the position of senator in which he served with distinction.
