Mariniana - Egnatia Mariniana: Wife of Valerian I; Mother of Gallienus; Grandmother of Valerian II and Saloninus.

Mints: Rome

Biography: Mariniana was the wife of Valerian and mother of Gallienus. All coins in her name are posthumous, apparently because she died prior to Valerian's accession in 260 AD. Valerian did not remarry. Virtually nothing else is known about Mariniana.
